Plastic Bag Update: Whole Foods to stop using plastic bags in all 270 stores

Updating a previous post about plastic bags, Whole Foods has decided to eliminate all plastic bags from its stores by the end of April.  While some cities and countries are toying with the idea of banning bags, the private sector is acknowledging the consumer trend and acting first.  While the surefire solution is good, effective policy, Whole Foods' decision should remind us the power we have as consumers to make much needed change.
