An inconvenience in obtaining An Inconvenient Truth

I don't know about you, but I have had some trouble trying to get my hands on this DVD. I believe that there are 5 copies of this DVD that are circulating around the world. One is being circulated amongst the folks at the Nobel Foundation, the other is being circulated with the folks at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Al Gore has the third copy, Blockbuster the fourth, and Netflix the fifth. This was probably done to keep the carbon footprint of the DVD to a minimum.

More to follow, when I am able to view the film.

I heard that the DVD is actually biodegradable and therefore becomes part of the earth again after about 5 or 6 viewings.

In any event, I chose just to watch "Hot Politics" (available for free on PBS's website) instead; based largely on the fact that I would rather watch paint dry than listen to Al Gore speak on any subject for over two hours.

Funny about watching paint dry rather than listening to Al Gore. I, for the longest time, shared your viewpoint and I believe he lost the elections because people couldn't stand listening to him. However, and to my surprise, he was really good in the movie!
In fact he was so good, and convincing that my wife and I started recycling after watching the movie and still are a year after.
